LONG ISLAND, N.Y. (Nov. 30, 2004) – Two accounting consulting veterans today announced the launch of Blacklake Transition Solutions LLC, a consulting firm that will help accountants with succession planning, mergers and acquisitions for growth.
Blacklake Transition Solutions will exclusively cater to public accounting firms – primarily local and regional, as well as start-up practices.

Sinkin is the coauthor of Guide to Buying and Merging CPA Firms and is a frequent contributor to industry publications; his most recent article is scheduled to be published in the December 2004 issue of the Journal of Accountancy. Putney has more than 26 years of experience in the CPA profession. For six years, he served as a managing director with RSM McGladrey, the fifth-largest accounting firm in the U.S., and he previously held several executive positions with its corporate parent.
